Our Mission:

North Star Youth Court aims to engage victims, offenders, and their community to restore relationships and reduce the recidivism rate of offenders through an immediate and direct response to juvenile crime.  This organization educates students about the legal system, mediation, and substance abuse, and promotes community service and leadership.  North Star Youth Court uses positive peer pressure to encourage personal accountability and responsibility among youth. 

Our Vision:

The North Star Youth Court will be an integral part of the greater Fairbanks community’s effort to reduce crime and substance abuse, and will promote social justice and alternative dispute resolution.
