KJNP is a Gospel radio AM and FM station as well as a Gospel TV station.  Our AM station reaches literally across the "Top Of The Globe", reaching many listeners with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
KJNP is staffed with all volunteer help.  We have NO PAYROLL at KJNP.  Each person raises their own support and can be sponsored by a church organization, friends, or relatives.  This can come from people and areas where you are aquainted.

We furnish room and some board for singles if available.  The singles dorm has four bedrooms, one person per room for privacy, with the living room, kitchen, eating area, and bathroom being shared.  On a singles monthly bill there is a charge of $1.13 for the use of a telephone in the dorm, plus any long distance calls made.  Although many choose to have their own cell phone, they are still charged $1.13 for the availability of the phone in the dorm.

Married couples and those with families are furnished housing IF available, but again, living and personal expenses are to be maintain paid by each family.  These expenses will include your grocery, electric, telephone and oil bill bill if the house has an oil stove and car expenses.  The mission has staff cars available at the rate of 18 cents a mile, but you must have an Alaska Drivers License to be put on our insurance in order to be a driver.   As the same with the singles, families will need to  raise support from your church , family or friends as their is NO PAYROLL.

Most of the staff do not spend 8 hours a day in one area of work at the station.  For example, some spend 2-4 hours a day in radio or putting programs in the automation system, TV cameras, music library, receptionist duties, general office, engineering, or maintainance work.  Since we are a mission we all try to work together as a team to do whatever is needed to keep the stations in operation.  We ask that the staff be willing to help out in various area if need be.
