KJNP-AM

KJNP AM, 50,000 watts - approximately 19 hours a day, reaches the Greater Fairbanks, Alaska area and remote villages in Alaska in the radius of 200 miles in the summer and an unknown distance in the winter months. An example; New Zealand in the South Pacific.

KJNP Radio also has a Satellite Network that puts our programming of the AM station on local FM Translators watts covering Barrow, and Tok, Alaska. Regular FM Translators are at Dot Lake, Fort Yukon, Circle and Central Alaska.
When a Translator is broadcasting to an area it's on FM which is not impaired by winter or summer conditions but is continuous 24 hour a day coverage 365 days a year with a good clear signal covering that village or villages.
