Pet Boarding Requirements

Thank you for choosing Golden Heart Kennel as your pet boarding facility. We try our best to see that your pet will have the safest and healthiest stay while here. In doing so we know that you will understand the need to show proof of the following for your pets:



  • To board your pet dog we ask that you show proof and dates of the following: Rabies, Distemper-Parvo-Corona(DPC), Bordetella (canine cough) and either a recent fecal for gut worms or a worming by Veterinary wormer. Finally documented Veteranary treatment of fleas and or ticks if from out of state.

  • To board your pet cat we ask that you show proof and dates of the following: Rabies, Distemper combo and Leukemia. Again we allow no cats in with fleas, ticks or earmites.



  • Our hours of business are 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays, year round. We are closed for all business on Sundays and major Holidays. We do invite you to visit with your animal anytime during OPEN hours.


  • As of 1/1/2016 boarding rates are $18.00 per dog per day or any part of a day and cats will be $12.00 per day. We ask that all boarding fees be paid when the pet is dropped off for boarding. We now accept cash, checks, credit or debit cards EXCLUDING American Express.
