WHO WE ARE: The City of Fairbanks Federal Credit Union was chartered by the Federal Government on September 18, 1961. We serve the employees of the City of Fairbanks, Municipal Utilities System, Golden Valley Electric Association, Fairbanks North Star Borough and Classified Employees of the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District. Savings up to $100,000.00 are insured by the National Credit Union Administration. We are examined by the N.C.U.A. each year to insure compliance with the Federal Credit Union Act and an annual audit is conducted by the Supervisory Committee. A complete copy of account disclosures is available in the office or by mail. Dividends are declared and compounded quarterly. Statements are mailed in January, April, July and October.
